Our Methods
We study and analyze the processes undertaken across the facility to
transport, distribute and manage the provision of goods and services.
We focus on each step, from patient demand for all manner of goods and
services to sourcing and supply before ultimate distribution back to the
patient and determine the most effective and efficient methods of fulfilling
demand at the right place and right time with the right product or service.
We then look at the layout of the
Central Warehouse, Pharmacy, Central Sterilisation Department, Intensive
Treatment areas (ICU, A&E, Cath Lab, Angio, Operating Theatres) as well as
medical and surgical wards and specialist locations such as haemo-dialysis.
We also take a good look at the flow of goods through and to these areas -
for example from the Central Sterilisation department to the Operation
Theatre - and at the infrastructure of the rest of the hospital.

The project group, in close consultation with the users, can take care of
the physical installation of the materials and determine the range and stock
levels in the department. Depending on the agreement we fill the
modules, racks and cabinets with these materials. If necessary, we
will install and implement the logistical software and instruct the users.
