SmartReq & hTrak
SmartReq is a fast and easy to use tool for building requisitions using a barcode scanner to scan the manufacturers barcodes on the product labels. SmartReq provides a quick solution to automate aspects of the replenishment task and builds seamlessly into both SMDS and a full hTrak implementation.

Patient safety can be dramatically enhanced through the use of hTrak to provide traceability of implants and other critical items directly to patients. The fact that the tool also enables the replenishment task to be carried out, provides automatic collection of data for Schedule 5 rebates and, if selected, allows real-time procedure costing to be conducted make hTrak a critical tool for all intensive treatment locations.

hTrak provides point of use data capture using the latest mobile handheld barcode scanning technology. hTrak has the ability to recognise and decode both EAN and HIBCC barcode standards. This enables the Universal Product Number, the Lot/Batch number and the expiry date to be captured simply by scanning the manufacturers barcodes.
